THE OBJECTIVE

GOAT Goals - CLAIM YOUR CROWN

Complete the ultimate bar crawl challenge!

 

There are 101 cards, each one packed with a little chaos, curated challenges & penalties. The goal? Survive the crawl, tackle as many cards as you can and make it to the final bar with your dignity (mostly) intact. There’s no scoreboard - just you & your crew making memories.

 

At the end, when the night winds down (or the bar kicks you out), the group votes for the MVP. Biggest legend wins the title & will be crowned….THE GOAT!!! 🐐 

 

Don’t forget to crown them in true GOAT fashion with something epic – a pint glass, traffic cone, party hat or whatever random object is lying around & screams “Legend”.


They also must be referred to as THE GOAT for the rest of the night – NO exceptions!

HOW TO PLAY

THE GOAT the game is here for a good time, not a serious time. It's all about fun, good vibes & legendary memories – not peer pressure, awkward moments or doing things you're not comfortable with. THE GOAT the game was designed for fun – but how you play is totally up to you.  Every crew has their own vibe & this game is made to fit yours. Here's how it technically works...but feel free to GOAT your own way!

Title

Shuffle the Deck

Give the cards a good shuffle. The player who goes first is the youngest in the group. Play then continues in age order, from youngest to oldest. (Don’t think too hard...it’s a bar crawl, not a maths test! Just go with it).

Take Turns Drawing Cards

On your turn, pick a card. It’s time to see what the bar gods have in store for you. Some challenges & penalties are hilarious out loud. Others? Not so much – they're better kept on the DL! So read the whole card in your head first – if it’s safe to say out loud and won’t ruin the challenge or penalty, go for it. 

Otherwise, just go ahead and do the damn thing! Rise to the challenge, like the GOAT you are. If you fail the challenge, you must cop it on the chin & complete the penalty. Players cannot pull the same card twice in one session. Can't decide if someone did the challenge properly? Group vote decides if it counts - majority rules!

Group Cards & Wildcards

Some cards involve the whole group, voting or public challenges. When these pop up, everyone gets involved. Don't be shy – you're in this together!

Optional Rule: New World Order

The group picks a common word (like “drink” or “bar”), that no one can say for the remainder of the bar crawl. If you say it, you take a sip for each slip up.

Optional Rule: Use Your Strong Hand

The group must only pick up drinks with their non-dominant hand. Slip up & use your usual hand? Whoops – take a sip!

Winning: The game ends when…

The group completes the bar crawl route OR the majority decide it's time to pull up stumps & stop playing. Then the group vote collectively to pick the MVP, who will be crowned THE GOAT!!! 🐐

Choose your vibe

Yes, cards have drinking penalties - but alcohol is 100% optional. Non-drinkers can sub in fitness dares, funny forfeits or whatever makes the group laugh! Pick your own adventure. Hydrate or dominate. Just chill & no peer pressure. If someone’s not feeling it, no stress – swap out their card for a fun dare or a group-approved challenge. Keep it fun, not forceful.

Stick to what the bar allows - be legends, not liabilities! No breaking stuff, respect the space, the staff & don't make it weird for other bar-goers. As this game was designed with bar crawls in mind, whenever the vibe says it's time to move venues…go with it!

House rules = Your rules

Every bar, every crew, every night is different, so feel free to remix the rules - add your own penalties, flip penalties into challenges (or vice versa), invent new rules mid-game or unleash full chaos mode…if that’s your vibe! This game’s just your starting line-up. The rest? That’s on you.

Playing at home? On a boat? In the middle of nowhere? No worries – THE GOAT the game is built for bar crawls but can be played literally anywhere. Some cards might need a little creative tweak to fit your location, so adapt as you need & keep the good times rolling.

Don’t be a dick!

Most IMPORTANTLY…Keep it fun. Keep it safe. Respect your mates, your surroundings & yourself. Know your limits. Always look out for each other – AND for the love of GOAT, we hope you're wearing closed-toe shoes…otherwise that Shoey’s going to be extra spicy!

That’s it – Simple. Social. A little bit spicy, WITH GOAT-level antics to fuel the group chat for weeks!
